Our 6th annual Frills For Furbabies drive has come to an end, and we would like to send out a big thank you to all of our supporters! This was our first year to collect donations for both Five Acres Animal Shelter and Stray Rescue of St. Louis, and we were thrilled at the response and feedback we heard from our donors who appreciated us supporting two amazing no kill shelters.

First of all, thank you to our Pack Partner locations that generously accepted donations and promoted our drive. Without your support, we wouldn’t have raised as many donations for Five Acres and Stray Rescue. Our amazing Pack Partners include The Watering Bowl, Four Muddy Paws, Three Dog Bakery St. Louis, Luvy Duvy’s Café, Airedale Antics, Westinn Kennels, the refind room, Lola & Penelope’s, KolbeCo, Mesa Cycles and Continental Real Estate Services.

Next, we’d like to thank our volunteers from Stray Rescue and Five Acres who helped to promote our drive and also picked up donations from all the locations. You all were a huge help, driving around town picking up donations as barrels filled up and dropping off car loads of donations to the shelters. We cannot thank you enough and appreciate your kindness.

Thank you to Emmis Communications, Clear Channel for running public service announcements to promote our cause, and to KLOU’s Sherry Farmer and Y98’s Courtney Landrum for promoting our efforts via interview on their stations!

And finally, thank you to everyone who donated, whether that was monetary donations, toys, food, treats or even just helped to spread the word. Your support has helped so many furbabies in need this holiday season. A special thank you to Dan Duffy for his heartwarming article in the Huffington Post on a very unique Frills donation by 2 girls gifted $100 from Santa.  Our Frills drive is a success every year because of the thoughtfulness and consideration of donors like you.
