Brady brings nine years of business journalism experience to company
January 28, 2008: Dardenne Prairie, Mo.— KolbeCo Marketing Resources is pleased to announce that Kathleen “Katie” Brady joined the firm as an Account Executive. Prior to joining KolbeCo, Brady worked for the past nine years as a reporter and editor for Missouri Lawyers Media, formerly known as Legal Communications Corporation, which is owned by publicly traded Dolan Media Co.
During the past six years as editor of the company’s St. Charles County Business Record publication, Brady gained extensive knowledge on the intricacies and challenges of entrepreneurship and small business. She researched and reported on private companies in the industries of technology, telecommunications, hospitality, construction and manufacturing. She also covered stories on federal, state and local government regulations that affect small business.
Brady also gained additional market-based knowledge on the St. Charles County area through the research and production of two St. Charles County business magazines: Doing Business in St. Charles County and Giving Back.

Brady earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She currently serves as the secretary for the St. Louis Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
